• Exhaustive experience having worked with Engineering Consultants, Technology Providers, PMC, EPC, EPCm and Clients from both Public and Private Sectors in plant Engineering & Design, Engineering Management & construction. Duties involving client interface, Concept to commissioning involvement in all disciplines, preparing scopes of work, engineering and construction estimates, inter-discipline coordination and schedule preparation and manpower forecasts for various projects and proposals.
• Significant experience in working with FEED/EPC Contractors and interfacing with equipment/package suppliers. Drive resolution of Common Engineering Management Issues
• Project Award Review, Activity Progress Measurement, Design Status report, Project Change request, Principal Design Quantities
• Plan and monitor the progress of Specifications, Stress Calculations, Material Requisitions and Design Activities.
• Co ordinate with End user, Site personnel, construction contractors, vendors, TPIs and all stake holders of the project for on time quality delivery of project objectives.
• Finalization of engineering contractor and vendors
• Develop engineering execution plan (engineering deliverable register, procurement register) to meet the overall project plan schedule
• Ensure the engineering design prepared by engineering contractors is in line with the Statement of Requirements. Deliver design packages to cost, quality and schedule
• Plan, manage and monitor the engineering progress (design and engineering support divisions), address shortfalls, develop mitigation plans and ensure plans made are implemented
• Review of purchase specification review and support purchase team with preparation and evaluation of contracts (technical content)
• Plant Concept Design for FEED & EPC, Proposals and Estimation and Provide optimized engineering solutions
• Assist, Check & Approve model development, plot plans, layout piping plans, isometrics, pipe support docs, tie-in packages, pipe material take-offs, as built, model reviews, space management (studies), site Survey.
• Preparation of PMS, Piping Material Requisitions, piping specialty datasheets, painting specifications/requisitions, pipe classes, bid tabulation, vendor info review, MTO/Catalogue, material take off, catalogue & specifications.
• Procurement and Construction assistance for both bidding and Execution projects.
