2. Replacement of Old & Obsolete Substation M20 at MAA Refinery
Contractor: M/s. Larsen & Toubro Limited. India

Project brief:
Replacement and load shifting existing M20 substation, which is operating with old / obsolete switchgears and systems with new substation.


3. Replacement of UNIFLUX Heaters in LPG trains 1, 2 & 3 at MAA refinery
Contractor: M/s. SINOPEC Engineering (Group) LTD. China
Type: EPCC

Project brief:
Replacement of the existing forced draft UNIFLUX Heaters in the three LPG trains with New Vertical, Natural Draft Heaters along with auxiliaries. In addition, installation of New Gas-Gas Preheater upstream of new Fired Heater to preheat the regeneration gas with the gas/liquid dryer outlet gas.













Duties during implementation stage:

• Reviewing all documentation including Contractor’s incoming letters, site instruction books, and Subcontractor documents.
• Prepare draft for management requests/feedback for contractual related aspects between KNPC and contractor.
• Drafting General and Contractual correspondence.
• Maintain a database of all correspondences between Company and Contractor and advise the Project Director on the consequence.
• Develop Change Control Management (CCM) on brownfield location Projects.

• Responsible for generating a Project Profitability Summary (PPS) and providing additional data.
• Manages proposal strategies with Proposal Management and joint venture partners as applicable.
• Prepare estimate basis and assumption documentation with listed inclusions and exclusions.
• Fully understands the needs of the customer.
• Review design or Request for Proposal (RFP)/Invitation to Bid (ITB) scope criteria and quantities for completeness and reasonableness, and coordinates with the project to develop additional estimating basis when information is incomplete. Suggests alternatives when appropriate.
• Establish and reviews the conceptual scopes of estimates and studies when definition is not available through a demonstrated ability to visualize the design of the finished product
