Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant IVF / Reproductive Medicine Specialist to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in assisted reproductive technologies (ART), infertility management, IVF procedures, and reproductive endocrinology. The role requires excellent clinical skills, patient-centered care, and a commitment to achieving optimal fertility treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage male and female infertility, including complex reproductive disorders.
Develop individualized fertility treatment plans based on patient assessments and diagnostic investigations.
Perform and oversee IVF, ICSI, intrauterine insemination (IUI), and other assisted reproductive procedures, within authorized clinical privileges.
Conduct ovarian stimulation, follicular monitoring, and ultrasound-guided oocyte retrieval.
Manage embryo transfer procedures and coordinate treatment with embryology teams.
Diagnose and treat polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), ovulatory dysfunction, and reproductive hormonal disorders.
Interpret fertility investigations, hormonal profiles, ultrasound findings, and reproductive diagnostic tests.
Monitor patients throughout fertility treatment and manage complications, including ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).
Provide comprehensive fertility counseling, treatment education, and reproductive health guidance.
Collaborate with embryologists, gynecologists, endocrinologists, and multidisciplinary fertility teams.
Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, assisted reproductive technology guidelines, ethical standards, and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Advanced fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology, or Infertility / IVF.
Board certification or equivalent recognized consultant-level qualification.
American Board, UK CCT, Canadian, Australian, European, or other internationally recognized qualifications are highly desirable.
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant post-specialization experience preferred, including substantial IVF clinical experience.
Strong expertise in assisted reproductive technologies, ovarian stimulation, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and infertility management.
Eligible for the appropriate DOH Consultant classification/license and IVF-related clinical privileges in Abu Dhabi, subject to applicable UAE PQR requirements.
Preferred Candidate Profile
PQR Tier 1 and Tier 2 qualified professionals preferred.
Internationally trained and board-certified Reproductive Medicine / IVF Consultants are encouraged to apply
Experience in leading fertility centers, IVF clinics, tertiary-care hospitals, or internationally accredited healthcare facilities.
Demonstrated experience managing complex infertility cases and assisted reproductive treatment programs.
Previous DOH, DHA, or MOHAP licensing experience is an advantage.
GCC experience is an added advantage.
