Operator - Leachate Treatment Plant
Job Location : Doha, Qatar
Typical Duties & Responsibilities :
• Inspect accessible pipework for leaks, noting the exact location so staff can trace any loss of liquid.
• Check screens or strainers where fitted, and arrange safe cleaning when trapped material restricts the flow.
• Track treatment chemical stocks where used, and flag low quantities before the available supply runs out.
• Keep operating walkways clear, and report blocked access that could delay inspections or an emergency response.
• Inspect spill containment areas for collected liquid, and report unknown contents rather than draining them without approval.
• Compare chemical container labels with supply documents, and set aside unclear materials for authorised identification.
• Observe pump noise and vibration from a safe position, and report changes with the equipment reference.
• Check routine inspection entries for missing information, and correct omissions through the agreed recordkeeping process.

• Process understanding: Connect flow, storage and treatment time to understand how one stage affects another.
• Numerical literacy: Compare measurements, recognise different units and notice trends without relying on a single value.
