Key Responsibilities :
• Supervise road construction crews and assign daily tasks.
• Coordinate earthworks, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation and pavement activities, as applicable.
• Monitor work progress against project drawings, specifications and instructions from site engineers.
• Coordinate the deployment of equipment, vehicles, materials and labour.
• Ensure that workers follow site safety procedures and use the required PPE.
• Report construction progress, delays, material requirements and site issues to the responsible engineer.
• Coordinate with surveyors, equipment operators, subcontractors and other site teams.
• Assist in maintaining productivity and workmanship standards.
Qualification and Experience :
• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Civil Engineering is advantageous; practical experience may also be considered.
• Relevant experience supervising road construction, highway works or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of earthworks, road formation, compaction, paving and site execution procedures.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow site instructions.
• Strong workforce supervision, coordination and problem-solving skills.
