Golden Motors Bahrain is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Automotive Powertrain Technician to join our growing service and workshop team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, servicing, repair, and overhaul of vehicle powertrain systems.
Experience with European and prestige automotive brands is highly advantageous.
- Engine and Transmission Specialist - Able to dissemble and rebuild major components
- Proven professional with experience as an Automotive Technician, Powertrain Technician, Engine Technician, or Transmission Technician.
- Strong practical knowledge of modern automotive powertrain and engine systems.
- Experience with internal combustion engines and modern electronically controlled powertrain systems.
- Good understanding of automatic transmission operation and diagnostics.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to use professional automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Understanding of vehicle electrical and electronic systems relevant to engine and transmission operation.
- Ability to read and understand technical information, workshop manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Relevant automotive technical qualification or certification is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on European and prestige automotive brands is highly advantageous.
- Experience with brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Range Rover/Land Rover, Bentley, Maserati, Jaguar, or similar would be preferred.
- Previous experience in a premium dealership, specialist workshop, or European vehicle service environment is an advantage.
- Experience with advanced electronically controlled transmissions and modern engine management systems is highly desirable.
- GCC workshop experience is preferred, although suitably qualified candidates from other regions and countries will also be considered.
