Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Location : Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction projects.
• Manage project costs from pre-construction through project completion.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
• Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations and participate in tender negotiations.
• Administer contracts, monitor variations, and manage change orders.
• Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Monitor project expenditures and provide regular cost reports to management.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, industry standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, and clients.
• Assess and manage project risks related to costs and contracts.
• Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors where applicable.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation, and procurement processes.
• Experience with residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying or estimating software.
• Familiarity with FIDIC or other standard forms of contract is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
