š Qualifications and Requirements
š¹ A minimum of one year of work experience in Industrial Safety or HSE.
š¹ An accredited professional certificate in the field of safety is required.
š¹ Experience in inspection, field tours, hazard identification and unsafe practices.
š¹ Good knowledge of risk assessment methods and control and prevention procedures.
š¹ Ability to prepare safety reports and document observations and accidents.
š¹ Ability to follow up on corrective and preventive measures and ensure their implementation.
š¹ Good knowledge of PPE and safe working requirements.
š¹ Ability to work in the field and withstand the nature and conditions of work sites.
š¹ Good communication skills, mentoring, reporting, and follow-up.
š¹ Commitment, discipline and readiness to start.
š Tasks and Responsibilities
š¹ Supervise the implementation of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures at workplaces.
š¹ Carry out periodic field tours and inspections and monitor hazards and unsafe situations.
š¹ Conduct and update risk assessments and propose appropriate control measures.
š¹ Follow-up on employees' compliance with safety instructions and the use of personal protective equipment.
š¹ Ensure the readiness of safety, emergency and firefighting equipment.
š¹ Document violations and observations and prepare periodic safety reports.
š¹ Follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive measures until the closure of observations.
š¹ Participate in the investigation of accidents and injuries and identify root causes to prevent their recurrence.
š¹ Provide awareness, guidance, and safety meetings to employees.
š¹ Contributing to the promotion of a culture of safety and accident prevention in the workplace.
