🌟 Qualifications & Experience
🔹 Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Water Treatment, or a related discipline.
🔹 Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ETP, wastewater treatment, or industrial water treatment operations.
🔹 Experience within a manufacturing or paper mill environment is highly preferred.
🔹 Strong understanding of industrial wastewater treatment processes and operational parameters.
🔹 Knowledge of applicable environmental discharge and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
🔹 Strong supervisory, troubleshooting, reporting, and team coordination skills.
🔹 Good understanding of ETP equipment, chemical treatment, sludge management, and preventive maintenance.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Supervise daily ETP operations and ensure safe and efficient treatment performance.
🔹 Monitor critical process parameters including pH, flow, chemical dosing, dissolved oxygen, sludge levels, and treated water quality.
🔹 Lead ETP Operators, allocate responsibilities, and ensure appropriate shift coverage.
🔹 Monitor the operation of pumps, blowers, agitators, clarifiers, filters, dosing systems, and associated equipment.
🔹 Ensure treated wastewater complies with applicable environmental discharge requirements.
🔹 Coordinate with Laboratory and Quality teams for sampling, testing, and wastewater analysis.
🔹 Identify process abnormalities and initiate immediate corrective actions to maintain treatment efficiency.
🔹 Coordinate with Maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
🔹 Monitor treatment chemical consumption and ensure proper handling, storage, and utilization.
🔹 Prepare and review daily operational reports, logbooks, plant performance records, and chemical consumption reports.
🔹 Plan and follow up on preventive maintenance and shutdown requirements for ETP equipment.
🔹 Investigate recurring operational issues and equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
🔹 Ensure proper housekeeping, sludge handling, waste management, and cleanliness throughout the ETP area.
🔹 Train and guide ETP Operators and ensure compliance with operating procedures and safety requirements.
🔹 Support environmental audits, inspections, regulatory reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
