Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Duties :

• Maintain daily bookkeeping, general ledger, bank reconciliations, petty cash, and supplier statements.
• Issue client invoices, manage receivables/collections, supplier payments, staff payroll, and expense claims.
• Track project budgets versus actuals and report on project profitability and margins.
• Handle UAE VAT calculation, filing, and compliance, while supporting corporate tax requirements and year-end audits.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, cash-flow statements, management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Manage company funds and reserves, identifying opportunities to invest surplus cash and optimize costs.
• Advise the founder on financial strategy, risk management, and profitability improvements.

Candidate Requirements :

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience (ideally in the UAE).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, or Xero) and strong MS Excel / financial modeling skills.
• Core Competencies: Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and familiarity with corporate tax, financial planning, cash management, commercial mindset, and strong English communication (Arabic is a plus).
• Nice to Have: Experience in events/production/project-based agencies, ACCA/CMA/CA/CFA qualifications, or treasury/investment management experience.
