QC Mechanical Inspector

Job Location : Qatar

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct visual & dimensional welding inspections as per CSWIP 3.1, WPS/PQR
• Verify welder qualifications and welding consumable traceability
• Inspect surface preparation and painting/coating activities, including DFT, adhesion & holiday testing
• Monitor ITP hold/witness points and prepare inspection reports/NCRs
• Review material certificates and verify material traceability
• Coordinate with Client QA/QC and third-party inspectors during inspections and audits

Requirements :

• CSWIP 3.1 – Mandatory
• 5+ years Mechanical QC Inspection experience in Oil & Gas
• Strong welding inspection and painting/coating inspection experience
• BGAS Grade 2 / NACE Level 2 – Preferred
• Good knowledge of ITPs, NCRs and HSE requirements
