🚨 Urgent Hiring – Gas & Diesel Operator Supervisor
Location: HFZA, Sharjah, UAE

Reports To: Plant Manager / Operations Manager
Experience: 5–10 years
Qualification: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Position: Gas & Diesel Operator – Supervisor
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily operation of gas engines, diesel generator sets (DG Sets), and air compressors.
Monitor load, temperature, pressure, RPM, voltage, and frequency.
Ensure proper start-up, synchronization, load sharing, and shutdown of gensets.
Lead and supervise operators/technicians across shifts.
Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance with electrical/mechanical teams.
Maintain shift logbooks, reports, and operational records.
Troubleshoot AMF/synchronizing panels, PLC/SCADA systems, control panels, and protection systems.
Monitor fuel/gas consumption and maintain records.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
Conduct toolbox talks and training for junior operators.
Monitor plant performance, downtime, and improvement activities.
Ensure availability of critical spares, tools, and PPE.
🎓 Candidate Requirements
Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
5–10 years of hands-on experience in gas/diesel power plant operations.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of generator control panels, AMF/synchronizing panels, PLC/SCADA, and electrical protection systems.
Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
Good leadership, troubleshooting, communication, and decision-making skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and plant monitoring software.
⭐ Preferred
Experience with OEM gensets such as:
Cummins | Caterpillar | Wärtsilä | Jenbacher
Experience in industrial/manufacturing plants and relevant electrical safety certification will be an advantage.
