In January 2015 I was appointed as the Maternity Nursing Services Manager to establish the maternity services for both Arab Euro Homecare Nursing and Intercare Health Center, a primary healthcare clinic which opened in February 2016 in Marina Village. http://www.intercare-health.com
Previously I was a Clinical Resource Midwife (CRM) at Corniche Hospital and part of the leadership team, where I became familiar with the critical role of clinical training & development as well as the SEHA healthcare structures and systems. I participated in two JCIA and BFHI re-accreditation processes at Corniche Hospital. Currently we are preparing for the first JCI homecare accreditation in Arab Euro Homecare Nursing.
At Corniche Hospital I was the lead CRM on labour & delivery unit and the wards. I was the lead on CME courses such as Mentoring, Perineal Repair and Pain Management which I compiled, coordinated and presented. I also participated in PROMPT and CTG workshops. I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a PROMPT Instructor with current BLS and advanced NRP.
I have completed my MBA and soon will conclude the MSc Health Management along with my doctorate on healthcare leadership in Abu Dhabi.

Appointed to set up maternity services for both the homecare nursing company and the primary healthcare clinic.
Responsible for development and implementation of maternity nursing services, objectives, policies and procedures in accordance with HAAD regulations, orientation and training, competencies, implementing systems, structures and programmes, business development strategies with market development.
Management of maternity nursing team.
Participation in JCI accreditation process for both organisations.
Intercare Health Center opened its doors in February 2016, where maternity services are now being offered; Lactation Clinic, Well Baby Clinic, Childbirth Education and other courses.
