WORK SUMMARY
? Preparation of Schedule of Instruments, technical review and provide input on selection of
instruments and control philosophies in conjunction with process engineering for the development of
P&ID. Support on Cost estimation as a part of frontend engineering design (FEED) activity during
Pre-order stage.
? Preparation of project specifications for various field instruments and Control system packages
(DCS/ESD/ F&G/Analysers). Review EPCs designs against provincial and federal requirements, project
standards, specifications, design criteria, basic engineering principles and applicable codes and
standards
? Review, provide input and approve relevant engineering documents and drawings such as P&ID,
operating, maintenance, start-up, commissioning documents, ESD philosophies, Cause& Effect, PHAs
( HAZOP/SIL), Fire & Gas detection, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, control & logic narratives, 3D
Model review, Instrument panel layouts, control room layouts, control system packages such as DCS,
ESD systems, SCADA ,Analysers & shelters, Machine Monitoring systems(MMS), Compressors & Turbine
instrumentation, Review of factory acceptance test procedure and participation in FAT & IFAT.
Sizing of Control Valves and Various flow elements
Preparation of data sheets for field Instruments, analysers & Control system packages for DCS,
SIS/ESD , F&G & SCADA systems
? Preparation of Engineering design documents such as Instruments schedule(Index), Cable schedule,
Loop schematics/ Functional Schematics, Installation/ Hook up drawings, Instrument location plans,
Plant safety Interlock Logics, DCS point database and Graphics, PLC & DCS I/O List etc.,
? Plant network design for both process and business (office)network.
? Preparation of Material Indent & Purchase requisitions, Vendor offer scrutinization, Technical bid
Analysis & Proposals, Vendor print reviews and material Inspection at vendor works etc.,
? Familiar with Engineering design tools/software such as INtools, Flowel (Flow elements Sizing
software), INSPEC.
? Familiar in Intellution Fix 32 Scada & Allen Bradley PLC programming & troubleshooting &
maintenance of various field instrumentation for cryogenic plants.
? Undergone training in Yokogawa CS3000 DCS, Allen Bradley RS Logix PLC programming,
troubleshooting and Maintenance.
