Job Description:
• Lead a team of multidiscipline engineers to ensure satisfactory engineering design, timely and cost-effective completion for concept, FEED & detail engineering of the projects.
• Perform EPCI Tender activities like tender preparation, pre-qualification, bid evaluation, Technical clarifications, engineering support for the cost estimation and submission of EPCI tender package to customer with the aim of ensuring the fulfilment of technical objectives, safety & quality requirements, budget and schedule.
• Follow-up the progress of the engineering works and timely issue of the engineering documents, drawings lists and document index according to the approved planning package.
• Prepare and maintain Action register for engineering, procurement and fabrication activities and ensure timely close-out.
• Conduct site visits for Brownfield scope of work during pre-bid for proposal estimate and post award for detail engineering.
• Monitor readiness, schedule and coordinate HAZID/HAZOP/3DModel Review/Project reviews sessions/workshops with CLIENT, Contractor, and ensure all necessary technical reviews are planned and executed, and follow-up on actions closure in a systematic manner.
• Provide engineering and vendor documentation distribution matrix inputs to Document Control Department (DCC) and update as necessary along the project execution. Coordinate with DCC to ensure effective and timely comments and/or approval of the engineering documents by the project specialist.
• Coordinate with the Fabrication yards to align the fabrication activities and detail engineering. Deputation to Fabrication yards to resolve engineering queries during fabrication stage.
• Accountable for cost and schedule of the assigned scope of work.
• Develop and manage the methodologies, standards, overall risks/opportunities, metrics, and interdependencies among projects at the enterprise level.
• Technical Support for preparation of Management of Change as identify during project life cycle and Technical Assessment of Change Order Request issued by the Contractor.
• Prepare for and participate in applicable Cost, Schedule and Risk/Opportunity reviews.
• Perform overall quality control and inspection (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly during the life of the project.
• Facilitate Project Internal Audit with Quality Department.
• Coordinate with procurement to review the status of procurement activities and any engineering issue which needed to resolve.
• Coordinate weekly and monthly meetings with the client and sub-contractors.
• Liaison between the company and the customer in relation to during complete life cycle of the project (Tender submission, Engineering, procurement, fabrication and commissioning).
• Support for preparation of offshore Fabrication, hookup, shutdown, pre commissioning and commissioning schedule.
• Direct and Coordinate subcontractor work at offshore (Fabrication, hookup, shutdown, pre commissioning and commissioning).
• Coordinates and ensures Project Quality Plans/HSE Plans/Environment Management Plans are in place and adhered throughout the execution phase.
• Organize Final Documentation delivery (As built) as part of project close out.
