CMR is the largest producer of Aluminium based Die Cast Alloys in India. CMR is also the leading producer of Zinc Alloys in the Country. CMR has annual production capacity of 1,45,000 MT for Aluminium Alloys and 16,000 MT for Zinc Alloys
Key Result Areas Logistics:
Looking after the SCM functions of Century Metal Recycling Pvt Ltd. The job involves looking after procurement/Logistics and store management of all of 11 productions plants all across the three regions of India.
Manage the company's entire logistics operations through land, Sea and air freight-includes organizing interunit trucking as well as Customer supplies managed thru approximately 30 trucks fitted with GPS.
Approval & finalization of all contracts & operation management & Logistics freight bookings
Handling a quantum of 1200 containers been imported to the country and bringing them from mundra sea port to respective plants.
Approval of payments /Expenses related to logistics activities.
Deciding waivers/ claims w.r.t shortages/Quality detention/demurrages or any other charges which are inappropriately charged & other commercials.
Finalization of freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, transportation and forwarding companies for all imports, exports and cross trade shipments executed by land, sea and air.
Watchful for GOVT. incentives schemes like-MEIS/RODEPT/ADVANCE & DFIA license utilization and filling BOE to have maximum savings.

Analyzing requirements, steering production planning and ensuring raw material availability to ensure smooth flow of work all across the 11 plants of CMR pan India locations.

Looking after a mammoth procurement of approximately 3000 crores yearly.
