Detailed Profile

Key Responsibilities as a Proposal Manager is:

• Review of Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents, understanding, analysing and accurately assessing all ITT requirements.
• Involvement in the development of the proposals strategy for the tender.
• Co-ordination, preparation and compilation of professional proposal documentation both technical and commercial for submission to clients in line with client bid documents and tender deadlines.
• Management of the estimating process. Oversee and direct Estimators and Senior Estimators involved in the preparation of base cost estimates, to ensure accuracy, professionalism and timely completion.
• Reviewing first principle base cost estimates and supporting technical documentation, prior to review by Senior Management including the managing of any further estimate amendments if necessary.
• Preparation and issue to client of appropriate and concise commercial and technical requests for clarification to client during the tender period.
• Liaison with the Procurement Group, material suppliers, equipment vendors and sub-contractors to ensure accurate and timely receipt of quotations.
• Attendance at client tender clarification meetings / negotiations, including the management and organisation of all required client endorsed changes to previously submitted tenders.
• Maintaining communication with client and support in obtaining client feedback on tenders submitted.
• Assisting in the preparation and compilation of contract documents, prior to signature, ensuring that all contract documentation is in line with all previously agreed tender negotiations.
• Receiving and understanding post-contract feedback, obtained from executed projects, for use in future bid efforts.
• Documenting and filing, in an organised manner, of all relevant tender correspondence and data.
• Handover of all relevant tender documentation to Projects and Contracts teams after award of contract and attendance of Project Start-Up meetings when required.

Key Responsibilities as a Project Manager was:

• Open WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) no. in SAP after receiving work order from customer.
• Feeding of ‘as sold cost’ in SAP to create WBS provided by sales department for proper monitoring of project cost.
• Preparation and approval from customer of BBU (Billing Break Up) after getting equipments details from design.
• Submission of QAP, Design calculation & GA drawings to customer or 3rd party of customer for approval.
• Summarization of long delivery ‘bought out items’ for indenting. Releasing of Purchase Requisition of all other items after receiving detail drawings of Equipments as per work order.
• Study of all technical Specification required in Purchase Requisition for proper indenting of material.
• Monitoring effective procurement schedules along with finalizing the specifications of materials and establishing the quality & quantity limits.
• Controlling the projects related raw material requirements and coordinating with Purchase Deptt. (Even Vendors) regarding the delivery schedules.
• Coordinating with Design, Purchase, Production, Quality, Logistics department for smooth execution of project.
• Site visit, Vendor shop visit to expedite dispatches ordination with all vendors for dispatch of material on E1 transaction.
• Invoicing to customer as per approved Billing Break-Up based on vendor invoice (E1 or E2 transaction)
• Submission of Project report to client on MS PROJECTS in monthly basis.
• To ensure the project completes within approved timeframe and budget, by focusing on risk and productivity with 100% customer satisfaction.
• Evaluation of project and involve in project cost / benefit analysis & techno commercial discussions.
• Reviewing projects through kick off meetings with clients & internal departments evaluating project progress & debottlenecking
