Reporting to : Corporate Financial Controller
Financial Accounting, Audit & Financial Planning/Budgeting:
• Preparation of Financial Statements as per IFRS and providing critical data to company Auditors.
• Review and manage General Ledger Accounting comprehensively.
• Month end and Year end closing accruals as well as review for closing of books.
• Monthly Inter-company reconciliations, inventory costing, overhead control, central maintenance of General Ledger Master in SAP FI and relevant support for closing of payables, receivables and fixed assets.
• Independently handled reporting requirements for Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) & Mubadala Development Co of Abu Dhabi.
• Consolidation of Subsidiary companies and Joint Venture investments.
• Quarterly VAT refund calculations for UK Tax Authority (HMRC). Providing support to the treasury team for studying implications UAE VAT in the company.
• Co-ordination and providing data to various Audit departments-External (Statutory), Internal Audit (Under CEO), FAD (Ruler’s Office) and ICD/Mubadala (Shareholder).
