PROFILE
An award winning Chartered HSE professional and accomplished team leader with over 8 years of international experience in both high risk and fast paced multitask industries, including construction, oil and gas, and processing industry. I have a proven track record of developing and implementing a culture-boosting health and safety management system for Verity Structural Steel. As a Chartered member of IOSH, and a NEBOSH Examiner, I receive occasional invitations to mentor and encourage safety professionals at seminars and training sessions. • Lead HSE Manager within the organization who developed and implemented the Health and safety management system based on the ISO 45001:2018, which improved the safety culture within the organization and directly reflected in the workers behaviour and cultural change.
• Developed and coordinated a strategy in collaboration with the senior management which resulted in a 12% increase in HSE engagement.
• Initiated a series of improvement plans to promote compliance with standards and facilitate the administration of HSE.
• Led and championed an HSE team of diverse cultural backgrounds, to support all steel fabrication processes, steel and glass erection processes, by executing an HSE agenda and processes which resulted in a decrease of incident rate from 1.2 in 2018 to 0.2
