KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
? Played a significant role as part of a multi-skilled team of 7 architects and engineers, and participated in designing and supervision of more than 8 projects with budget of more than 20,000,000 USD during 2016 to date.
? Successfully headed a team to execute from start to completion, an Emergency Village of 12 furnished houses in Juba-South Sudan for SOS Children of Malakal after the 2013/2014 civil war that left the children displaced and homeless. The project was budgeted at 900,000USD and an estimated time of 4 months in 2014
? Led the construction operations of an SOS Children’s Villages consisted of 13 Midlevel Houses, Kindergarten and administration in Mwanza-Tanzania with a budget of up to 3,200,000 USD throughout the 2014-2016.
? Planned and executed the construction of an emergency housing development for orphaned children of SOS Children's Villages- South Sudan and Djibouti with a budget of over USD 1,300,000 in 2014.
? Administered and supported renovation of SOS Regional Training and Research Centre (RTRC) with a budget of up to 910,000USD. Designed production drawings for furniture for several school and housing projects within 2012.

? Design high quality architectural proposals, interiors, technical drawings, 3D renders, and BOQ for UAE-Embassy Projects. Coordinate contractors and other professionals involved in the project from conception to successful completion
? Successfully manage and direct the operations of several multi-million project from inception to completion within time and budgetary constraints, and each projects' cost varies between 1,250,000 and 5,000,000 USD.
? Customise PMO specific 'Projects Tracker for an Enterprise resource planning (*ERP*) software. Improve the overall look and feel of the buildings through effective implementation of interior design expertise.

SOS CHILDREN'S VILLAGES INTERNATIONAL ESAF, Nairobi, Kenya 2014 – 2015

? Led wide range of projects of schools, accommodation, social canters, and sporting facilities across East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Somalia, Djibouti, and Somali-land). Generated architectural designs and technical drawings in accordance with client’s specifications to enhance the satisfaction level.
? Expertly used “LUCY” an Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to properly manage, maintain, and update date records of the projects.
? Ensured appropriate selection of contractors, and accuracy of related contracts drafted. Provided expert opinion on new projects, and lease agreement with architects to represent the requirements of project and organisation.
? Evaluated the construction progress, examined the needs of SOS, and assured high quality standards while conducting site visits, and managing budgets of upto 3,500,000 USD for each of the projects.

This was the second segment of a 6 year course in Architecture where a student of Architecture is equipped with competent skills to deal with emerging issues of the global city through urban planning and organisation.
A student was then asked to interrogate fully an emerging issue of their choice through a dissertation and provide architectural solutions through architectural design proposals at a macro scale

After introduction into Architecture and its various components, the training advanced to urban dwelling via the study of a small house in the city. We were introduced to fundamental aspects of building: space, structure, materials, and construction begging by researching historical precedents and analyzing how the concept of living in the city has changed over time, and proceed with a study of contemporary issues and building methods that will inform their design. Driven by informed speculation, this period concludes with an exercise in imagining the home of the future student. The course further evolved to more complex sites and programs in the study of multiple and hybrid buildings in the city. We move beyond the single building to consider the spaces between buildings, infrastructural elements, and neighbourhoods.
