I have an experience of 15 years in the Indian textile and fashion industry, where I serviced both national and international clients. Currently I am working with an Indian fashion designer, JJ Valaya (http://valaya.com/) as their consulting head designer. During my tenure there, I have handled a team of more than 20 junior designers and conceptualized seasonal collections until production year on year. I have been responsible for research and development of print, embroidery and fashion related trend direction; all CAD work (textile, pattern layouts, logos, graphics, jewellery and product designs) and for all high level creative solutions.
Armed with proficient knowledge of software Photoshop, Coral Draw, InDesign and Illustrator, I can create mood boards, graphics, illustrations and embroidery placements at ease. Inclined towards painting, arts and photography since childhood, I have a good knowledge and sense of colour, design, aesthetic and proportion.
Though I am more inclined towards textile and fashion design, having worked on designs for home furnishings, furniture, jewellery and accessories, I am open to working on product design.
