VAM Systems is currently looking for Senior Fiori and ABAP Consultant for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
Education and Qualifications :
Required As a minimum, Certified degree in Computer related field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
Experience Required:
• 6 – 8 Years in technology Developer.
• Minimum 1-2 years of Managerial Experience.
Job Purpose:
To support the implementation, development, and maintenance of SAP application as per business requirements. To develop and support programs, new custom Fiori apps, enhance existing standard and custom Fiori apps, Odata services including other integration methodologies to integrate with Third party systems, Form development in S4 Hana, Workflow and reporting developments, SAP UI5, CDS views, AMDP and stored procedures.
To work closely with business teams in collecting requirement, analysing, and providing solutions, including technical design & specification
Key Activities:
1. Manage SAP Technical Development :
• Defining the reporting needs for the business users to facilitate business and leverage SAP application usage.
• Develop programs, data dictionary objects, forms, interfaces and module pools to meet the requirement of business.
• Develop and support Fiori Apps, Odata services, CDS views, Workflows • Assist SAP basis team in patch applications and version enhancements.
2. Manage SAP Process and Functional Development:
• Manage SAP Functional areas including application interfaces, master data structures, transactional data, implemented functions and components.
• Analyse third party application interfaces, and integrate into SAP back-office applications.
• Participate in the development lifecycle of all applicable projects in their assigned SAP functional applications, as needed.
3. Provide Process Technical Support:
• Provide primary end-user support and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Create end user documentation and training curriculum, and work with the necessary stakeholders to conduct end-user training.
• Manage development inventory and time to time advise on the requirement of the developments.
.Must be aware of logging tickets / Enhancement Requests and coordinating with SAP support.
4. Self-Development:
• Develop skills & acquire additional knowledge appropriate to the position on an ongoing basis.
• Develop expertise in other SAP functional areas.
• Keep abreast with the latest updates that may be significant to the area of work.
5. Core Competencies:
• Overall experience of 6 - 8 years in the SAP.
• Effective writing skills; ability to support the development of technically focused, solutions-oriented sales proposals.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology-based solutions.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal cross-functional organizations and customers. • Excellent customer communications, interaction and presentation skills are required.
• Must be a team player, who is self-motivated, organized and pays strict attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
6. Information Security & Risk:
• Preserving confidentiality, integrity and availability of information that is processed and handled.
• Responsibility of adhering to the information security policies/processes/program.
